Dance Showcase Mission Oaks hosted a Dance Showcase on Sunday, June 13th. Dance instructor Carol Stone was the key organizer of the event which featured five tap groups, line dancers, two vocalists, a pianist, and talented supporting personnel. The audience of 170+ was treated to a show filled with music, colorful costumes, lively dancing, and wonderful entertainment. Program themes focused on Broadway tunes and patriotic Flag Day acknowledgements. VFW Post 4647 provided a military presentation of colors and led the audience in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. The showcase also served as a benefit performance supporting the onsite Senior Hot Lunch program. Mission Oaks thanks audience members and performers for their generous contributions toward this important cause.
