Come Dance With Me A CHILDREN’S PERFORMING ARTS WORKSHOP Classes held at the Swanston Community Center: 2350 Northrop Ave Fall Session Starting Soon Session Dates: Wednesday Classes September 8th-29th Monday Classes September 13-October 4th * More dates available soon Class name: Tiny Tots Ballet Days: Wednesdays (9/8-9/29) Ages: 18 months-2 years Time: 9:30-10:00 am Cost: $38.00 Description: This is the class that introduces ballet. This class offers a fun introduction to the ballet world. Children learn proper French terminology while beginning their dance journey. All staff is trained in early childhood development so all curriculum is age appropriate. Class name: Pre Ballet Days: Wednesdays (9/8-9/29) Ages: 2-3 year olds Time: 10:00-10:45 am Cost: $42.00 Description: This is the class where technique is built upon. Children expand their knowledge of ballet. They use proper French terminology, and concentrate on rhythm, posture and flexibility. Class name: Music and Movement Days: Wednesdays (9/8-9/29) Ages: 2-5 year olds Time: 10:45-11:30 am Cost: $42.00 Description: ---This is the class that gets your little one moving. Your child will improve on rhythm and motor skills all while having fun singing and dancing. In this class your child will also be exposed to different genres of music and make their own musical instruments. Class name: Tiny Tots Gymnastics Days: Mondays (9/13-10/4) Ages: 2-3 year olds Time: 9:30-10:15 am Cost: $42.00 Description: Let’s get tumbling! This class introduces your child to the fun and exciting world of gymnastics. Starting with summersaults and beginning bar work your child will work on strengths needed to become a little gymnast. Class name: Kindergym** Days: Mondays (9/13-10/4) Ages: 3-5 year olds Time: 10:15-11:00 am Cost: $42.00 Description: Your child will learn and improve on the basics of gymnastics in this class. Children learn the skills needed while having fun, climbing, rolling and tumbling. The gymnastics equipment used in this class is soft and age appropriate. *Dress for ballet classes: Black Leotard and pink tights required please come bare footed the first week.
