Nordic walking is a low impact, total body workout that is recognized by fitness professionals to promote a healthy lifestyle. This class will teach you how to use Nordic Walking Poles while you walk using techniques that enable you to burn up to 40% more calories without additional perceived exertion. The information covered in class includes pole sizing, safely walking on a variety of surfaces, warm-ups and cool-downs, and proper body alignment while walking with the Nordic Walking Poles.
