Explanation of Trip: This trip will take us deep into gold country where the search for gold was at a fever pitch. It is evident with the advent of hydraulic mining where millions of tons of soil was washed down into the valley. We will literally step back in history as we are transported to that era with the quaint town “ grand canyon” like site and the picturesque area of green foliage.
