It is never too late to discover the joy of dance. Now is the time to get your dance shoes on and get back out there on the dance floor. You will be introduced to 12 of the most common club and ballroom dances. Dances include Swing, Cha Cha, Salsa, Bachata, Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, Merengue, Nightclub Two Step, Country Two-Step, and Line Dancing. The lessons will be targeted to beginners with no prior knowledge required. Couples or singles are both welcome.

Instructor:

Rickey Ray Smith has been dancing since 2015. He attended the Professional Ballroom Teachers Academy. He has taught locally and is also an instructor for the cruise industry.

Teaching Assistant’s:

Vivian Manuel is Rickey’s dance partner. She has been dancing with him since 2016. She accompanies him on cruises as his teaching assistant when he instructs for the cruise lines.    

Kellie Smith, Rickey’s sister-in-law, began dancing at age 9. She danced at the World’s Fair in Spokane, Washington in 1974. Her love for dance is fulfilled by sharing with others, and she is excited to bring the joy of dance to anyone interested in learning. Kellie is also an instructor for the cruise industry.
